Andrew Broadhurst was born and brought up in Accrington, Lancashire, gaining ’O’ levels at Moorhead County High School and ’A’ levels at Accrington and Rossendale Further Education College before a BSc in Astronomy and Physics from University College, London, and a PGCE from the University of London Institute of Education.
Andrew has been teaching Physics for 22 years at four different boys’ schools, ranging from an Inner London comprehensive to the independent sector. He is now teaching at a grammar school in Lincolnshire.
Outside teaching, Andrew has held posts as a churchwarden and as a local authority councillor in the London Borough of Haringey. Andrew lists his hobbies as gardening, science fiction and supporting Accrington Stanley.
