Criminal Records Checked Ltd

NB: Current legislation does not allow parents to get a CRB check on those that they employ directly. However, if an agency has supplied a nanny, the agency can have them CRB checked.

People employing nannies will be entitled to check the applicant’s status under the new vetting service [from 2009/2010]. The individual must have already applied to be vetted (via the Criminal Records Bureau (CRB)) and must consent to the check.

For membership of Voice, nannies are required to have an Enhanced CRB Disclosure (including POCA Check).
