Information and assistance
Members can obtain information and assistance by contacting our head offices in Derby or Edinburgh or by direct contact with our Regional Officers or Voice Cymru.
During normal working hours (09.00 to 17.00, Monday to Friday) there are duty officers at head office ready to answer your calls and provide help and advice.
In addition, there are locally-based volunteer Field Officers and branch officers who may be able to assist you. (Members can find full contact details for their Regional Officer, Council member and other local contacts in the Members’ Contacts leaflet issued with the Members’ Handbook & Diary or via the Regional Officers’ page.)
Subscriptions, Membership and Media
All subscription, membership, publications and media enquiries should be directed to the Derby office. If you are in employment, you can claim income tax relief on your Voice subscription. Contact your local tax office.
If you’ve moved house or changed your place of employment, please let the Membership Department know (membership@voicetheunion.org.uk) or change your personal details online by logging in at the top of the page.
There is also the Voice 24-hour legal helpline for legal queries that are not related to your employment. This is a service for members only and the phone number is on the back of your membership card or log in for full contact details and the Legal Services Website. Teacher Support Network helpline
Teacher Support Network provides 24-hour free support lines for teachers in England and Wales needing emotional support or counselling: England: 08000 562 561, Wales: 08000 855 088.
