Questionnaire about workforce remodelling
You may shortly receive a questionnaire about workforce remodelling. This is part of a research study commissioned by the DCSF, and conducted by the Institute for Policy Studies in Education, London Metropolitan University, in collaboration with BMRB Social Research.
The research is designed to investigate the views of school staff at all levels about workforce remodelling and the impact this has had on their work and on school standards. It will focus particularly on PPA time, cover for absence, leadership and management time and invigilation.
The research team will report to the DCSF, and the findings will be used to inform the support that is available to help schools with remodelling, as well as future policy.
The survey will be sent to a random sample of schools; if you are asked to complete a questionnaire, we very much encourage you to do so, although participation is voluntary.
