Calling all Scottish classroom assistants!

I’m Maureen Cummings, a classroom assistant in a primary school in North Ayrshire and a member of Voice’s Scottish Executive Committee (SEC)

We need the ‘powers that be’ to realise we do exist.

What I’m proposing is to set up a network of classroom assistants, not only to support one another but to hear your views on the many issues that concern all of us. A rep in each authority would be a starting point.  Unless we network our thoughts, we can’t know how we all feel and act together to achieve the status we all deserve.
