Request for evidence

Following discussions in the programme of talks between the Department for Education and teacher trade unions (including Voice) on policy implementation, the Secretary of State for Education commissioned a review into the health and deployment implications of teachers working longer as a result of the increase in normal pension age (NPA) in the Teachers’ Pension Scheme.

We need your views on working longer

The unions are carrying out a joint survey of members’ views on working longer. 

Please take part It should take only a few minutes and it will help us to present evidence to the DfE’s Teachers Working Longer Review Group, which is looking at the impact of the raising of the Normal Pension Age.
