Come and have fun at a FREE workshop on teaching CODING skills at KS2. Gain fresh resources and advance your Professional Development.

Learn how to deliver the National Curriculum in Computing at KS2 using freely-available resources. 

  1. How to ensure computational thinking targets are met using Scratch, with a look at other block based coding resources.
  2. How to design a Statement of Work (SOW), looking at resources and the assessment of students’ work.
  3. 'Hello World' - a beginners guide to text-based programming (Python) and how to transfer from block-based to text-based programming.

 

You will be required to bring a laptop or tablet to this session.
