Curriculum for Wales delayed a year

Education Secretary Kirsty Williams has set out a revised timeline for the new Curriculum for Wales, with statutory roll out to schools now set to begin in 2022 ‘to give the teaching profession and schools more time to help develop, and prepare for, the changes’.

National education plan

She also launched a ‘national education plan’*, which includes reducing class sizes, upgrading buildings, and reforming teacher training and career development.
