Wales Executive Committee

Wales Executive Committee (WEC) represent the interests of our Welsh members.

Wales Executive Committee (WEC) meet quarterly to discuss the needs and issues facing our members in Wales. They feed into our other committees and Council to ensure that the Welsh voice is represented.

We are a friendly group and welcome members to any of our meetings to observe what we do so that you may become more involved. Meetings are held wherever it is convenient for members - so we can meet in a venue near you. We are currently discussing the new Curriculum for Wales and the potential effects on our members. We are happy to discuss any issues you bring to our attention and if appropriate take your concerns forward in order to develop policy. We appreciate that members are busy and the commitment to anything extra is often difficult, which is why we have guests as observers. We would welcome your input, however small. (We always have light refreshments available and if you become a WEC member expenses are covered by the WEC budget.)

If you would be interested in observing a meeting to decide if you would like to join WEC, please contact us by email or call us at 01332 372 337.
