This year Education Show are bringing the classroom to life! Sharing the latest practical resources and innovative solutions to make a real impact in your classroom for the school year ahead.

With brand new workshops, demonstration areas and interactive zones, the Education Show is set to be a fun-filled celebration. Offering visitors over 225 exhibitors with their latest products and services, along with exclusive (and budget friendly) show discounts. Visitors will be able to try new things, challenge students and bring creativity to the classroom.

Over the three days visitors will have the chance to hear from a range of speakers they simply wouldn’t meet on a regular training day including Voice's own Morris Charlton who will be offering a session on 'Managing low level disruption in the classroom and beyond?'. Join Morris on Friday 16 March at 12.15 in the Main Stage Theatre for this fantastic session.

Session Outline: Whether it’s the children/pupils in your group/class, their parents, your manager or your colleagues, everyone faces challenging behaviour on a daily basis. Join this session to gain invaluable advice and techniques designed to help you tackle low level challenging behaviour and help you nurture the right learning environment. Morris will offer you techniques and approaches to help you tackle whispering in class, disruptive behaviour in group discussions and other day to day challenges. Ideal for practitioners looking for help in their workplace, or managers seeking insights they can take back to their team.

About the speaker: Morris Charlton, Regional Officer, Voice
Before joining Voice to support members in the Yorkshire area, Morris worked extensively in specialist behavioural provision. With over 30 years as a headteacher, Morris was often seconded to schools in crisis and heavily involved in inspections, developing best practice and training of staff at all levels. Morris is an advanced tutor in behavioural management and completed doctoral research on inclusion, strategic planning in SEN and bullying.
