Mindfulness in Schools Project (MiSP) is one of the UK’s leading providers of mindfulness classroom-based curricula.

MiSP was established in 2009 and has since offered high quality, face-to-face training to thousands of teachers who have gone on to teach mindfulness to more than 350,000 young people. Our highly acclaimed curricula include .b for secondary schools, Paws b for primary schools, .b Foundations and .begin for school staff. Our classroom-based curricula have been taught in a variety of settings including mainstream and special schools, pupil referral units, youth and sports clubs.

In 2016 MiSP achieved charitable status, and we are now able to help children living in areas of high deprivation to access mindfulness by offering supported places on teacher training courses.

MiSP supports and encourages research into mindfulness in educational contexts, and is currently working with Oxford University on the large scale, Wellcome Trust-funded MYRIAD research projecy. MiSP also advises the Mindfulness All-Party Parliamentary Group, contributing to the Mindful Nation UK Report 2015.
